About this plant

This is our small Money Plant (pothos, Epipremnum aureum) — a young plant in a 7-inch pot, with glossy heart-shaped leaves splashed in green and gold. It is the easiest way to start with houseplants: just right for a desk, kitchen shelf or bedside table, and a popular good-luck gift for a new home or office. Money plant is very forgiving — give it bright, indirect light, water when the top inch of soil feels dry, and never let it sit in soggy soil. As it grows, let it trail from a shelf or train it up a moss stick, and in time it becomes a full, leafy vine like our larger Money Plant. Snip a few vine tips and they root easily in a glass of water.
