About this plant

The Lemon Plant (kaghzi nimboo) is a rewarding evergreen citrus that does beautifully in Lahore — glossy leaves, sweetly fragrant white blossom, and thin-skinned, juicy lemons through much of the year. It is happy in a large pot on a terrace or straight in the ground, so it suits gardens big and small. Give it the sunniest spot you have (six or more hours of direct sun), water deeply but let the soil dry a little between waterings, and feed through the warm months to keep flowers and fruit coming. Just protect young plants from hard winter frost — few plants give back as much at home.
