About this plant

'Christina' (Syzygium australe) is a fast-growing evergreen ornamental, famous for the brilliant coppery-red flush of its new leaves that matures to glossy deep green — so the plant carries two colours at once. A hardy lilly pilly, it takes trimming beautifully, which makes it a favourite for hedges, privacy screens and shaped feature plants, and it grows happily in a large pot too. It loves full sun to part shade and warm weather, staying lush right through the Lahore climate.
